The VSA has simplified our document on VSA support for aircraft offered for use at VSA competitions and coaching events. Aircraft Usage Agreement for Tugs The principal matters are:

• availability of a fuel subsidy of 25 cents per kilometre for trailering two-seat gliders for coaching use, and
• in the event of damage to a tow plane or two-seat glider used for coaching then the VSA will cover up to $ 2,500 of the insurance excess.

We hope this will encourage Clubs and private owners to offer tow planes and two-seaters for VSA events including the Grand Prix. We will also support two-seaters being used for coaching VSA pilots at interstate events.
