Gordon Pope

Gordon (Coach) Pope (Beaufort): Gordon has been the ‘goto’ man at Beaufort to fix anything mechanical, just anything. Coach is a toolmaker by trade and has a willingness to help. Two recent projects Coach has been involved in include the Hornet build and throughout the years Coach has been repairing club aircraft for many many years. He will have to tell us how he got the nickname coach but I am told it has to do with advice whilst running (in the earlier days)
